A broken heart takes time to heal.

Sometimes it hurts so badly that we have to cry it out loud. Sometimes it hurts so badly that we cannot stop crying. Sometimes it still hurts after we have cried.

Shattered pieces will piece together gradually. The broken heart is fixed eventually. But cracks will always be cracks. Because of the cracks, the heart is more vulnerable to breaking again. And more probably worse than before.

With the cracks leaving marks of memories, it reminds us of something that we will never forget but fail to remember at times. We usually look but seldom observe. The broken heart is fixed, but how about the mending the cracks?
