The type of weekend that should exist

It’s Monday. No blues spotted. Because the weekend was just lovely. :D

For the record, the two dolls didn’t quarrel or squabble or argue over the weekend! Yay! Let’s pop some champagne to celebrate the one of the rarest times of the year! :D

Alrights, I admit at times I was being difficult and sulked for a few NANO seconds but it was indeed just a mere few NANO seconds okay. Haha.

We caught two movies, the Storm Warriors on Saturday night and Avatar on Sunday night. Having watched them consecutively, the Storm Warriors definitely pales in comparison. Watching a movie is like learning a story, which forms the backbone and the crux of the movie. Not saying that the Storm Warriors does not have a proper storyline, it has but it’s pretty predictable. Avatar is one that is well narrated and structured, and its clever scriptwriters made it emotions evoking. I’m giving thumbs up for Avatar, which is not being adapted from anywhere else. Just watch Avatar.

Back to my wonderful weekend. Here are some evidence of its wonder! :D

Friday lunch with Jingjing! We did Home Economics (Cooking) lessons together when we were 13. We haven’t met up for almost a year! But still we had endless of topics to talk about! Glad that she is doing well these days and I can experience that she has cheered up a lot and has become more optimistic. :)

Well, since I have unofficially graduated and am officially jobless (haha!), which also means I should be quite free, I’m making it a point to start catching up with my friends! So friends, stay tuned! You might be called up for a date with me anytime! :D

My friends Jacinta and Marcus posing for the camera after the sweeeeet proposal! :) So glad that I was part of the surprise. My physical being was literally part of the surprise. Marcus and I decided that I wouldn’t be hiding. Because there is no place to hide. Or maybe I am just too huge to be hidden. Haha. She came into the room saw the whole setup and me (the physical being) and was UTTERLY DUMBFOUNDED. Next thing she knew was, Marcus was confessing everything from his heart. Woo! Sweet! :D

Of course I kept my mouth shut until everything was over. How I wish I could exclaim “So Sweet!!!” in a bimbiotic fashion.

So happy for my dear friend! She said she felt more emotional hugging me than Marcus. Oops. Hehe! :D

The next morning with Denise giving me my Christmas present! Yay! Denise never forgets our birthday presents (no matter how belated they may be) and always gets us Christmas presents! We always joked that she is our motherly figure. Haha. It’s just so so sweet of her! :D

Cynthia, Denise and ME posing with all the presents! Cynthia couldn’t meet us in the night as well so we met up for breakfast too! Look at the colorful and cute presents we have! Yay! Had such a great morning with them. What a pity that they didn’t join the rest of us for dinner.

My task was simple! Pass the presents to the rest of VegClan! (From left: Me, Ling Ying, Floor, Mabel and Joyce)

The red present that Floor is holding is actually LY’s belated present! Haha. It goes to show that we haven’t meet up for a while!

So love them! They never fail to bring me joy and make me laugh! I will organise more meet ups since I should be quite free now! :)

Guess what? We went to a Pasar Malam (Night market) at Simei, that was near Joyce’s place. It’s also one of the rarest time we hanged out at the void decks, devouring our pasar malam buys! :)

It’s started out with this Japanese dessert (“Matcha” something) that is green tea powder (Matcha) on a “muah chee” like thing.

My dear Chardy said, “Oh I have never eaten Muah Chee before.” I was like “What?!” Then Joyce said that there was a pasar malam near her place and asked if we wanna go for a walk. Woo! All of us went!

Hence, the table says it all. We wanted Floor to taste the durians! But he prefers durian puffs better. Haha. Durians (the fruit) and durian products actually taste quite different. Anyways, to our very pleasant surprise, the rest of us love durians! We have been friends for so long but we never knew whether durians were the fruits that we eat. Haha. Our first time eating durians together. Which brings us to wonder whether Denise and Cynthia like or dislike durians? :)

To kickstart the Sunday, we posed beside my house’s Christmas tree before going out to do some Christmas shopping.

Dark soy beancurd from Thai Express for dinner. I’m a bit worried because I just read from Men’s Health magazine that soy products decrease the level of sperm fertility! Oh man (pun intended)! I hope it isn’t true. He takes a lot of soy products. Haha.

Yay! I am happy that my dear doll bought his Dragon Ball figurines. They are happily sitting on my printer. And there are more than just these above. He says we can put them in our future home. Which also means for the time being, they will be “residing” in my room. =.=

But I figured it’s okay. All because I LOVE HIM! :D
